After Tubal Reversal - Stress Hinders Fertility

Going through the tubal ligation reversal journey is not always easy. Women that have had their fertility restored through tubal reversal surgery will move to the trying to conceive stage.

Before having the reversal surgery many women take the advice of those that have gone before them and begin to track their monthly cycles. Knowing how long your cycles last and when you ovulate are important when trying to get pregnant.

Women will often begin using OPK’s or Ovulation Predictor Kits to figure out what cycle day ovulation takes place. Others will also begin what is called Basil Body Temping. Understanding the cycle will help get an idea on how your reproductive system works.

Every woman’s body goes through changes depending on where they are in their cycle. As ovulation approaches and then happens certain changes can be detected. A woman may have a slight pain during ovulation that she is now aware of after realizing when she ovulates and listening to her body’s cues.

But what happens when the trying to conceive stage begins and it doesn’t happen right away? Many become stressed and wonder if the tubal reversal actually worked. Some will begin to question whether or not the fallopian tubes are blocked. Others question if they are actually ovulating the way they should be. Many on the tubal reversal message board ask about this.

With all of the anxiety a majority will be told to just relax and it will happen. Believe it or not, many have given up hope or just concentrated on other things and that is when they conceived.

It is now proven that stress does indeed take its toll on conceiving. All those people that used the “just relax, it will happen” phrase were right. The National Institutes of Health has just released a study that shows how stress delays chances of pregnancy.

Although it is very hard to relax while trying to get pregnant and not obsess over it the advice seems to work. A healthy diet and exercise should be added to daily living and finding ways to relax and connect with your partner may be the best medicine of all.
Author Information: Although trying to conceive can become very stressful for tubal reversal patients and even for those just trying to conceive it is important not to stress over it. Of course for those who have been at this for any length of time already know that this is not easy. But the National Institute of Health has released a study proving stress hinders pregnancy success. hostgator
